Celebrity Homeware are an online store that keeps an eye on TV cooking shows and the products that get used by celebrity chefs. They then source the products and help their customers find great products from around the web.
Helen, the site owner asked if I’d help her with Shopify Migration, Helen wanted to move their existing WooCommerce store over to Shopify so she could expand their offering and make use of Shopify’s in built security and usability offering.
I was given a daunting task of ensuring the migration from one platform to another went smoothly for hundreds, if not thousands of products. Developing upon an existing Information Architecture and re-categorizing the products so they work well with Shopify’s collection structure proved quite simple thanks in large part by its CSV exports/imports functionality both platforms provided.
Once completed I worked closely with Helen to get launch ready – setting up collections (at my recommendation), postage options as well the admin side of owning your own affiliate based shop.
Rik migrated over my WordPress site and he was excellent in doing so. 100% would recommend him to anyone wanting any work done on their website. He has excellent communication skills and is very prompt on getting back to you with updates. Great dev, thanks Rik
